Madrid-born Fernández, 22, returns to the team where he raced in 2022, bringing more than 100 Grand Prix starts of experience. Since moving to Leopard Racing in 2023, the Spaniard has established himself as a regular front-runner, taking his first Moto3 podium in 2024 and finishing seventh in the 2025 championship. His career tally stands at one win, seven podiums and three pole positions.

Alongside him, American Kristian Daniel Jr. makes his full-time Grand Prix debut after an impressive rise through the Road to MotoGP ladder. Born in Los Angeles and based in Barcelona, the 17-year-old finished fourth in the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, claiming his first pole position in the season finale at the Red Bull Ring.

NICOLAS GOYON, Team Manager: "Really happy about the news! This season has been good and has paid-off because I’m going to one of the best teams in the paddock; it’s really nice! It gives me a lot of confidence knowing that there is a lot of experience, and Tech3 is a top level team. I cannot ask for more. I’ll do my best during the winter to prepare myself in the best way for 2026. Thanks to all the people behind me and helping me. Also, a big, big thank you to Tech3 and KTM for giving me the chance in Moto3."

ADRIAN FERNANDEZ: "I’m very happy to be back with Tech3. It’s a team I know well and with which I shared an important chapter of my career, so coming back now is very special. But I return with more experience, a different mindset and, above all, a lot of ambition.
“The goal for 2027 can only be to fight for the World Championship. We know it will be a long and demanding season, but we have the motivation, the hard work and the potential to be at the front. I can’t wait to get started, settle back into the team and work together from day one to fight for the title."

KRISTIAN DANIEL Jr.: "Honestly, I have to say I'm super grateful for this opportunity. I know how hard I work, and to be given such a great chance with such a great team, there isn't much more I could've asked for. I know it won't be easy, but it never is and I'm confident me and the team will work hard towards the same goal!"
