The Moto3™ class was back on track on Thursday at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto for the second day of the Official Jerez Test. Track conditions were ideal with the sun shining all day through, leaving Red Bull GASGAS Tech3’s Daniel Holgado and Jacob Roulstone with decent track conditions to continue their testing program.

Spaniard Daniel Holgado returned to his 2024 machine as he aimed to get more and more laps in and get more experience with both the new bike and the Pirelli tyres. The feeling continued to be good for Red Bull GASGAS Tech3’s leader. He completed a total of forty-nine laps on Thursday, with a best in 1’44.524. Getting the fast laps was not today’s priority, as Dani prefered to work in more detail on the setting of his bike. He ended day two of the Jerez Test in P7, 1.209 seconds from today’s fastest rider, David Alonso.

Rookie Jacob Roulstone spent another very productive day on track with his new team today as he continued his adaptation to the lightweight class. He continued to get the laps in, tried different settings, in addition to continuing getting comfortable with Pirelli tyres. The young Australian rode his fastest lap in the afternoon’s session 2, a 1’44.538 that placed him eighth of today’s combined standings, 0.014 seconds from his teammate Holgado. With his sixty-eight laps clocked in, he is one of the riders having spent the most time on track today, and ends day 2 as the fastest rookie.

There is one day left of preseason testing for Red Bull GASGAS Tech3’s Daniel Holgado and Jacob Roulstone, who will be back in action tomorrow morning at 11:20 local time for day three!
